The Art of Rapport

Why would you even want to watch the video below (apart form the fact that it’s only 8mn long)?

Well, what if you could get anyone to like you and therefore listen to what you have to say with a positive mindset? What if you knew how to talk to anyone so that they’d understand. Have you ever been in a situation where you had to convince someone? Have you ever had to ask someone for assistance? Have you ever had to rely on someone else to get something done? (don’t say no! I won’t believe you!); Rapport is the #1 skill that will take you way ahead.

Rapport will get you results. Does that sound like something useful for you? Frankly, does it look like something you could do without?  And not only that.

When I started to consciously practice this, I realised there was much more to Rapport than could meet the eye. Because you see, it drastically improves relationships of all kind as well. How would that feel? To get results and be happier in the process?

And the thing is, you can do rapport on a one-to-one basis, but with groups as well. Watch politicians (the ones trained in NLP), and see how they use their bodies, their voices during a speech. Imagine the edge you get as a teacher or a trainer speaking in front of a group when you know how to get everyone’s attention.

The video is 8 minutes long. You can comment by clicking on the title of the post (a new page will open with a comment box at the bottom).

OK, the video is below if you want to watch it. And by the way! You become really good at rapport through practice and rehearsal. During the NLP & Coach Certification training, you’ll learn and rehearse the subtleties of rapport, and if you cant wait until then, you’ll also learn rapport during the NLP Foundation one-day course.
